I am excited to say that I will be giving a short talk at the upcoming conference “Science and Sensibility: Method Meets Art”, a transdisciplinary conference on bridging the arts and sciences, on October 12-13 2024. The keynote speaker will be Dr. Patricia Leavy. You can attend online as well as in person.
My talk is called, “Tale Wags Dog: a story of writing science and making art.” It is a brief journey through the development process of writing the short story “Madswitch”, which featured in the BioPunk anthology project (2012) by Comma Press. The anthology was devised to showcase existing science, pairing writers with scientists in a joint creative space.
